The figures speak for themselves - over 55.000 meetings & events a year, accounting for almost 14 million delegate days…In short, a 4 billion Euro industry responsible for some 22.000 jobs in the Brussels Capital Region.

Hard cash, spent by conference delegates and participants in events, filters down through the economy and benefits the local community including shops, restaurants, services, the cultural scene… It’s a new 21st century industry which is at last getting wider recognition & public awareness of its economic and social value, thanks to events like the Brussels Meetings Week.

We meet, you meet, they meet…in Brussels!
…and online there’s a great new website with what’s on, 13-20 March.
It starts on 13th with the Brussels Job Day and the traditional press conference @ BOZAR…and ends on 20th with the Industry Oscars appropriately at one of Brussels latest high-tech venues, AA Dock’s, which built with respect for the environment using eco friendly technology.

And in between, we’re organising a VIP programme for top buyers, and then of course there’s 2 days full of events at EMIF 2009, 18 & 19 March.
