MEETINGS & EVENTS

Brussels abounds in original venues for meetings & events, many of them have a link with or are actually situated in a green environment, such as…

The Wood
In the heart of the Bois de la Cambre, the green lung of Brussels, you can find ‘The Wood’, an old hunting pavilion, completely restored to its former glory with respect for the authentic features but also incorporating contemporary touches and in touch with nature. Newly opened, it will become one of the trendy places of the capital, its restaurant seats 100 inside and 150 on the magnificent terrace outside. The French cuisine menu offers a variety of dishes for all tastes and budgets, and its Bar will be the place to be in the coming months!

Hof ter Musschen
On the outskirts of Brussels, a stone’s throw away from Brussels Airport lays the quaint ‘Hof ter Musschen’, a fully restored and protected old farmhouse built in the typical square format. It is a haven of peace where the past and the present come together in real harmony. The infrastructure, built around the square inner courtyard, offers a choice of 7 rooms with a total surface of 814 m² able to welcome up to 300 guests. Ideal for product launches or upscale meetings and parties. www.hoftermusschen.be

Latour de Freins
The Domain ‘Latour de Freins’ can be found in Uccle in a green setting at the gateway to Brussels, 20 minutes from the European institutions and near all the major roads which lead to the capital. Located in a quiet 6 hectare park, the castle is an outstanding setting for your meetings, seminars, workshops, cocktail receptions and dinners. All the rooms are equipped with wifi and ADSL connections. They all have natural light, as well as the necessary equipment and comfort for the organization of your events. The 6 rooms can hold between 2 and 180 people, whereas the outdoor terraces and lawns can accommodate up to 1000 people.

Last but not least, a scoop, the opening of the Maison des Maîtres Chocolatiers on the Grand’ Place! 29.09.2009

The Maison des Maîtres Chocolatiers is an initiative of the association “Best Belgian Chocolate of the World” which groups 10 of the best chocolate makers of the Kingdom. Chocolate has long been and still is one of the trademarks of Belgium, so where better than on the historical Grand’ Place to have a house dedicated to King Chocolate! On the ground floor visitors will be immersed in the secrets of the making of the best chocolate, the first floor will be used for demonstrations, exhibitions or other events and will be a great venue with impregnable views of the historical heart of the Capital of Europe!
