BRAVO!

…to Brussels-based interior designer Michel Penneman. Several of his works have been featured in Rendez-Vous including this month with the recently opened Tenbosch House (see Meetings and Incentives). Having composed the interiors of several private residences, offices and studios across the city, Penneman’s more accessible works in the retail and hospitality arenas reflect a similar awareness of the possibilities a space can provide.

In addition to his work on the Scandinavian simplicity of Tenbosch House, Penneman has three other Brussels hotels in his portfolio. The White Hotel sees the transformation of two unremarkable residential towers into a gallery of modern Belgian design whilst the Vintage Hotel is a playful take on the giants of Mid 20th century design such as Eames and Saarinen. Working in close conjunction with architect Olivier Hannaert on many of his projects, their latest creation is the Pantone Hotel just off Place Stephanie. Here sees the ultimate realisation of the brand extension of Pantone, the colour coding company.
