Ever thought of the amount of energy you produce by dancing?
Picture a club full of hundreds of partygoers all getting their groove on and ’sustainability’ is probably not the first word that comes to mind.
Rotterdam based Club WATT bills itself as the ‘very first Sustainable Dance Club in the world’ but what’s really interesting is their use of the Sustainable Dance Floor, which turns the movement and weight of dancers into energy.
And if that wasn’t enough fun for you, the floor lights up ‘a la disco inferno’ to show how much energy is being generated:
In the meantime, the sustainable dance floor has become a portable item, so for your next event, order a sustainable dance floor, pull out the plugs and start dancing!
