Zanzibar was the place to be for a cocktail in the best company in Merchtem last summer – with 25,000 guests, the pop-up bar turned out to be a great success. This year, the bar moved to Londerzeel, for a bigger and more professional concept.

The organisers hope to attract double the crowds from last year during their run from June to September. The venue is suitable for networking events, after work drinks and VIP treatments, and it also comes with a pool.

The Korean Convention Bureau published a couple of exciting new things to do in South Korea. You can visit indoor sports entertainment centres or make your own traditional alcohol, but our favourites are the Haenyeo: female divers from Jeju Island, who dive ten meters deep without air tanks to gather sea urchins and clams.

Most of these ladies are 80 years old and still dive almost every day. To keep the culture alive, MICE groups can now join a dive with them and catch their own supper.
