GALILEO LAUNCHES VIEWTRIP WHITE LABEL
viewtripGalileo launches ViewTrip White Label, a extended version of the standard ViewTrip product. With www.viewtrip.com travel agents already had the possibility to give travelers free and easy online access to their travel details. With ViewTrip White Label agents can now decide individually what their website will look like by adding their own logo and contact details. Travel agents can also decide the level of access for the travelers, show special promotions and inform galileoclients of important news. There is also space for promotions and adverts, creating extra revenue possibilities.

ViewTrip White Label is a very user friendly product and can be easily customized by the travel agent. As soon as the site has been activated by the travel agent, clients can access via a unique URL from all over the world and consult their data as well as destination information.

HD CAMCORDER MARKET

IMPLEMENTATION OF 200TH E-TICKETING PARTICIPANT
Travelport GDS, one of the world’s largest global distribution system (GDS) providers, announced that China Southern Airlines has become the 200th airline to e-ticketingimplement e-ticketing via its Galileo GDS.  With this development, Galileo has implemented e-ticketing on almost 60 carriers this year alone.
China Southern Airlines operates domestic, regional and international flights and is Asia’s largest airline in terms of fleet and the largest in China in terms of number of passengers carried. The signing of China Southern Airlines to implement e-ticketing on Galileo demonstrates the travel industry’s continuing and systematic move to achieving IATA’s goal for all airlines to offer e-tickets by the end of May 2008.

Travelport GDS, encompassing both Galileo GDS and Worldspan GDS, issues over 85% of all tickets via e-ticketing resulting in huge time and financial savings for travel agents and carriers alike.  As a direct result of this, the combined company is saving a minimum of 27 acres of forest per month.

TOSHIBA RENOVATES SUCCESFUL PORTEGE R500-LINE
Toshiba Information Systems Benelux, expands the successful Portégé R500-line – the lightest notebooks in the world – with two new top models. These models, the Portégé R500-11T and the Portégé R500-11Z, are proof that beauty does not always toshibameans less functionality. They are equipped with a Lithium-Ion 6 cell battery, giving not less than 8,5 hours independence.
